Yes, we are facing some enormous challenges right now.  Yes, we are flooded with bad news and misinformation.  And, yes, the devil is still and always a liar!  

But, guess what else?

God is able. God is faithful. God is present with us. 

Over and over again, when God’s people are in trouble, the record of scripture reminds us that God provides for, preserves, and protects his people!  

Even when enemies surround us, we can be encouraged.

Our ancestors embodied this testimony…

¹ The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger,so why should I tremble?

² When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.

³ Though a mighty army surrounds me, my heart will not be afraid.

Even if I am attacked, I will remain confident.
