If we are ever to learn how to walk—or even imagine running—we must first learn how to stand. Yet learning to stand is not nearly as simple as it sounds.

When the world is reeling and circumstances are unstable, standing itself becomes a considerable feat.

When the ground beneath our feet is churned into mud by life’s storms, simply remaining upright is a major accomplishment.

When our ship is tossed and driven by an angry sea, standing—finding our sea legs—becomes a hard‑won skill.

Learning to stand is both a lesson in faith and an exercise in patience.

Circumstances are rarely ideal, and life often tests us with its unpredictability. Yet we serve a God who not only shows us where to stand but also teaches us how to stand.

We have a God who lifts us up and sets our feet upon a solid rock.
A God who saves us, secures us, and establishes our steps.

Brothers and sisters, we learn how to stand—and where to stand—by patiently waiting on the LORD: the One who listensliftslands, and then leads us.

Do you see it?

The psalmist says it this way:

1 I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. 2 He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.

Psalm 40:1-2

Cry out. Wait. Trust. Stand.

Good Morning, I love you all!
